Inka Trails - 4 days/3 nights hike to Machu Picchu

Stay the 5th night in Agua Caliente and take the train (according to SAS travel)
  • The Vistadome leaves at 09.30am and arrives at Ollantaytambo to 11.05am. It has large high windows to allow you to appreciate the spectacular views from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo. This train then returns to Aguas Calientes. There are public buses and collectivos waiting in Ollantaytambo that transfer passengers back to Cusco through Urubamba arriving approx 11.30am to Cusco which could cost approx 7 Soles = US$2.50
  • 1 NIGHT (DOUBLE BASIS) ACCOMODATION IN VIAJEROS HOSTAL IN AGUAS CALIENTES ( Machu Picchu town) AFTER THE TRAIL TO LET YOU RELAX IN THE HOT SPRINGS IN THE EVENING. (10 soles) INCLUDES DINNER DAY 4 AND BREAKFAST DAY 5 WITH VISTADOME TRAIN TO OLLANTAYTAMBO AT 9.30AM OR AFTERNOON BACKPACKERS APPROX 6PM WITH BUS CONNECTION THROUGH TO CUSCO. IF CHOOSING THE OVERNIGHT OPTION YOU MUST CIRCLE THE TRAIN RETURN OPTION YOU PREFER ON THE BOOKING FORM.
  • If we time it right: take the train to Ollantaytambo then the pisac market on Tues, Thurs, or Sun (largest).
